Designed to for quick tool checks and portability, the AWS-QC has become our most popular product. Its high quality construction and low cost makes it the best value of any basic tester on the market. The QC is a complete, integrated torque test system, and has all of the same basic modes as our higher-end testers, including Peak mode,First Peak Mode, track Mode, adjustable pass/fail limits, multiple frequency filters, and more.
The unit also features serial data output, and can easily be used to send readings to a PC or serial printer. Advanced testing software is also available to aid in tool certification, data collection, etc. The QC uses high-quality electronics and is accurate +/-0.5% of the indicated value for the top 90% of rated capacity. Available in both vertical and horizontal transducer
configurations, in capacities of 0.1Nm to 1350 Nm
AWS-MTM Series
Specifications
Accuracy: 0.5% of indicated.
Modes: Track, Peak, First Peak

Data Output: RS-232 Serial
The AWS-3000, and MTM are our high end single-transducer bench-mount units with a built-in display. They feature high accuracy, easy-to use menus, and a high quality package. The 3000 features an advanced menu and memory with up to 999 data points, which can be reviewed onscreen or transmitted to a local printer or PC via the standard RS232 interface. The 5000 ads Sets to the menu, so tests can be grouped together for ease of use, and also adds the option of an external transducer switch, so a bench mount or inline transducer can be used with the tester.
All models of the 3000/ MTMup to 100Nm include rundown fixtures for power/pulse tool testing. Utilizing high precision electronics the 3000/MTMseries testers are certified to+/_ 0.5% accuracy of the indicated value for the top 90% of the range, with extended accuracy of +/_ 0.25% or extended range of top 95% available in most sizes.
Bench Mount Transducers
When multiple transducers are needed, or a transducer needs to be mounted
separately from the display, a bench mounted transducer is the perfect solution. Our bench mount transducers are designed to be rugged – machined
from solid aluminum and equipped with the highest quality connectors, they will outlast all the tools they’re being used to calibrate.
Every standalone transducer is equipped with our Intellect calibration
data chip, which allows the display to read in calibration values directly from
the sensor.
Available in capacities from 0.1Nm to 1350Nm
AWS-4050 Handheld and 8000 Desk top Display
For situations where an integrated display and sensor is impractical or undesirable, AWS offers a full line ofstandalone displays and sensors. We offer the AWS-4050 handheld displays, and the AWS-8000 desktop display. These displays mate with a broad variety of sensors, including bench mount transducers, inline male to female transducers, inline male to female rotary transducers, and a variety of custom sensor stands. The AWS-4050, can be used with any of our Intellect equipped transducers to automatically load calibration data and default units as soon as the transducer is plugged in. The digital electronics zero the sensor at the touch of a button, so no zero balance resistors are required in the sensor or display, resulting in a more reliable system.
users can easily choose from eight different engineering units, test in peak, first peak, or track modes, set high and low limit parameters, auto clear, filter settings, sign lock, serial data output settings and more.
The unit can be configured to output data to a serial printer or computer automatically after capturing a reading, or after the user accepts a reading, and can also output stored readings from the system menu.

High Torque test stands AWS -HYRD
We have a line of high quality test stands for 1000, 2000, or 6000Nm torque tools.
AWS-HYRD series test stands are designed for the testing of powered torque multipliers, i.e. tools that have a continuous rotating output shaft and are usually tested with a rundown fixture. AWS-HYRD test stands are supplied with a rundown fixture (simulated joint) with supporting collar and bushing or bearing.
The small size and light weight of our Standard HYDP test stands provide the user with the most mobile and portable systems for the testing and calibration of powered torque multipliers and hydraulic wrenches available in the market today.
System accuracy is ±0.5% of indicated reading, top 90% of range
Intellect Series Transducers. The torque ranges available are from the smallest capacity and footprint (8″ x 8″ 25-750 Nm) up to the our largest heavy duty test stand (14″ x 19″ 750-8, 6000 Nm).
Rotary Tool Testing
Our HYRD Stands incorporate a rundown fixture. All rundown fixtures are sized appropriately for the maximum capacity of the test stand. Additional rundown fixtures are available as accessories.
Features
- Very accurate and durable transducer.
- Solid machined aluminum base for weight reduction and long term durability.
- Steel reaction posts or aluminum “paddles” provide flexible torque reaction points.
- Test stand is internally torque-accepting so stand is not required to be bolted down.
- Standard configuration is for test stand to be supplied with internal torque display.
- Supplied with collar and bushing or bearing to minimize effects of side load on transducer.
AWS-1000 series torque wrench loaders
The AWS-1000, when used in conjunction with AWS-1000 transducers, provides system accuracy up to ±0.25% of indicated reading, satisfying metrology lab requirements while its robust housing enables use in the harshest environments.
The optional rolling cart provides a sturdy base as well as secure storage for transducers, adapters, and tools. The cabinet features heavy duty casters, locking wheels and keylock security.
Intellect Series Transducers
AWS offers a complete line of Intellect Series static torque
transducers to cover a range from 0.5 Oz.in. through 2,000 Lb.ft.
These torque/force transducers maintain their own calibration data
stored in the housing. The range and calibration information is read
directly when the transducer is connected to the the AWS-4050,
Tools v2 or the AWS-1000 display/controller system.
Features
- System accuracy of ±0.25% of indicated reading
- Solid machined aluminum base for stability. Heavy Duty gearbox provides rotation of transducer
